WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE

A SEMINAR IN YOUR CHURCH?

Dear Pastor;
Please let me take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Ken Crause and I am the author of a new book on prayer called “Praying with Purpose and Power”.

Prayer is probably one of the most neglected ministries in the church today or at least one of the most misunderstood practices.

For this reason, I have felt directed by the Lord to use this book to teach on prayer by means of seminars all over the world. That is why I am contacting churches who may be interested in having me do such a seminar in their city and encouraging all the churches in that city to participate.

Praying with Purpose & Power
Seminars

The following is a brief outline describing how these seminars are generally put on. Obviously circumstances differ from country to country and I would take that into consideration and work with each participating pastor as best I can, to accommodate the situation. In other words I am flexible, and open to what God wants in any place he sends me.

THE FORMAT:
1. Generally the seminar commences on a Friday night and runs throughout the day Saturday, ending Saturday evening. This helps to accommodate most people who would like to attend. However other times may better suit your needs.
2. Each participant receives a copy of the book since they will need to refer to it and learn to use it effectively during and after the seminar.
3. In order to cover travel costs, costs of the books, accommodation etc., I simply charge a fee per attendee. This way the host church is in no way responsible for any expenses for me to come.
4. As a general rule, I charge $25 or equivalent (depending on the currency of the country). This covers the cost of the books and provides the finances I need to travel and stay in an area to minister. This of course is a general rule and I am aware that some countries are poorer in which case we need to find some other way of covering the costs which would be incurred.
5. I will provide draft bulletin inserts which we ask all the evangelical churches in the region to put into their bulletins ahead of the seminar. Also I will provide a draft poster which can be printed and placed in visible areas of the church or elsewhere.
6. The hosting church will be responsible to collect registration fees on my behalf.
7. For taking the time and making the effort I will pay a tithe (10%) of all the registration fees collected to the hosting church.
8. To save time and costs I prefer to do seminars on “a tour” basis so that once in the country I simply travel around from city to city there.
9. I will make myself available for up to 2 days after the seminar to meet one on one with anyone who wishes to meet with me or needs counselling or prayer for anything. Of course there is no charge for this.
10. I will need assistance to secure suitable accommodation and transportation while in each city.
11. I will arrange in advance to have sufficient books shipped directly to the hosting church as well as additional copies which we will have available for sale in case some people want additional copies for friends or family who could not attend.
12. I do pray about where and when God wants me at any given time, so I ask that you join me in prayer about this so that God’s will can be done perfectly.
If you or someone you know may be interested please let them contact me directly via email: ken@kogmission.com or else by phone + 1-(250) 752-4908

Pray Like You Mean It—and Get Godly Results
Prayer manual keeps readers on track via its design as a day planner

LONGWOOD, FL—From Genesis to Revelation, prayer permeates the entire Word of God, yet in the busyness of life it has become one of the most neglected and misunderstood Christian practices. Ken Crause’s Praying with Purpose and Power ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-60266-835-5; $25.99, hardcover, 978-1-60266-836-2) is different from most books on prayer. It is not only a book filled with scriptural teachings on prayer, but is in fact a prayer workbook. Designed to be used as a prayer reminder, a prayer journal, and an activity journal to keep you on track with your prayers each day, this handy tool will enable you to pray with purpose and power.

Praying with Purpose and Power is the perfect record-keeping system to assist people in their journey of learning to pray effectively. “God wants to fellowship with His people through prayer, but most people have no tools to help them keep focus and to keep them consistent in prayer,” says Crause. “[My book will] get them excited about praying, praying consistently with purpose, and seeing the power of God work in answer to their prayers.”

The manual, initially developed for Crause’s own purposes, makes a journey in prayer accessible to others. Solidly founded on Scripture and the author’s own formal Bible school education, the book gives readers the answers they need straight from the greatest authority on any subject—God.

Ken Crause and his wife, Mitz, have seven children and oversee the home group ministries of their church, Maranatha Foursquare Church of Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Xulon Press, a part of Salem Communications Corporation, is the world’s largest Christian publisher, with more than 4,000 titles published to date. Retailers may order Praying with Purpose and Power through Ingram Book Company and/or Spring Arbor Book Distributors. Salem Communications is the country’s leading Christian radio broadcaster, Internet content provider, and Christian magazine publisher.

Ken CrauseAbout the author:
Ken Crause was born and raised in the city of Bulawayo, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). Through a miracle of divine healing, Ken accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour at the age of 13. He came to Canada in September 1973 to attend the Full Gospel Bible Institute (FGBI) in Eston, Saskatchewan. After graduation, he pastored a small church in Minnedosa Manitoba.
Ken later left the pastorate to pursue a career in business and finance.

In the spring of 2007 God called Ken back into full time ministry primarily focused on prayer. This manual was initially developed for Ken’s own purposes and journey in prayer and is now being made available to others to guide them to an effective prayer life.

Book CoverA DIFFERENT TYPE OF BOOK ON PRAYER
Many other great books have been written on prayer. This book is different from most though. It is not only a book filled with scriptural teaching on prayer, but is in fact a prayer workbook. It is designed to be used as a prayer reminder, a prayer journal and an activity journal, to keep you on track with your prayers each day. This will enable you to pray with purpose and with power. Its focus is on personal prayer.

Of all the noble, great ministries and deeds done by Christians, there is nothing more important to God than the matter or ministry of prayer. Prayer permeates the entire Word of God from Genesis to Revelation. Yet in the busyness of life, it has probably become the most neglected and misunderstood Christian practice. Prayer is not reserved for the few but is for us all.
